Notional Announces Initial Programming Slate With Over 50 Television Episodes
Lineup includes the third season of Food Network's hit series "Chopped" and an innovative new dance competition show combining the worlds of internet and TV
PRNewswire NEW YORK, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Notional, a New York-based production company specializing in creating video content for all distribution platforms and an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI), today announced its initial development and production slate which includes over 50 television episodes to date. Launched in August, Notional is quickly becoming one of New York's leading production companies, actively developing programming for over 80 cable channels and broadcast networks around the world. A number of the new projects will consist of elements that uniquely combine the internet with television including "Ready, Set, Dance!" an original content project that will be co-produced by a major partner who is yet to be announced. The show has also garnered the interest of multiple international players currently trying to adapt the program for their markets. Originally spawned from CollegeHumor.com, Notional is led by CEO Ricky Van Veen, co-founder and former editor-in-chief of CollegeHumor.com.
